This millstone of an existence wore at my sanity
Respite only within dreamlands of magnificence
A terrain of eternally enchanted splendor
Far from ruin and twilight grove,
A curious bronze gate rest amid an impressive wall
Bemoaning physical existence now stodgy and listless
Savoring momentary bliss in dreamscape
Escapes into valley, forest, and grove
Mulling methods to dwell here forevermore
Never returning to such dreary a purgatory
From beyond bronzed gate emanated sensations
Foretelling cessation of anguish
But entry evaded me nightly,
Till rumor guided my sights to Zakarion
Home to sagacious scribes
Who had wrote of what I sought
A specific narcotic once ingested
Opened gates forth to the unknown
Discrepant tales of wonder, and woe
Disregarding disparity, utterly compelled to go
For no dread nor terror
Could compare with this gregarious dismalness
Decision decided, the drug was ingested
Eagerly proceeded past forest and grove
To the now unlocked bronze gated goal
Illuminating the area in a resplendent glow
Stepping forward into an eerie blinding silence
Where I was greeted by a destitute oblivion
